Say goodbye to the overwhelm. Let’s get started on your land-based life of abundance.

The Permaculture Design Package is for you if . . .

  • You’ve watched videos, read books, attended seminars, but have no idea where to start

  • You’re ready to rely less on the store and more on the land for food, medicine, and daily essentials

  • You’ve recently acquired land with an existing orchard or food forest, but aren’t sure how to take care of it

  • Water systems such as swales, infiltration basins, ponds, or rain cisterns, intimidate you

  • You’ve got vision - but no working map to help you build toward it

  • You want practical self-reliance - food, energy, and systems you can trust when societal systems fail

  • You want to start a permaculture farm, regenerative business, or commercial project on your site

  • You want to grow more than a garden - you want to create a landscape that builds soil quality, increases biodiversity, and supports life in every form

  • You’re tired of working with traditional methods, you want a system that is more fully integrated

  • You just want someone to look at the whole picture and help you design a system that works

Each of these designs started with a piece of land, a set of goals, and a conversation about what matters. These are working maps created to reflect the natural patterns of the site and the needs of the people who live there. We support a range of projects: homesteads, farms, and residential properties. Each one is built from the ground up using whole systems design and permaculture principles, taking into account water, access, slope, soil, microclimates, and long-term vision.

Client Testimonials

  • Working with Victoria has been such a rewarding experience. She didn’t just give me a garden design—she gave me tips for better way of living. The plan she created is thoughtful, intentional, and grounded in beneficial permaculture principles, but what makes it so special for me is how well it reflects my lifestyle, values, and goals. It’s functional, pet-friendly, and beautiful. It supports the kind of life I want to lead: sustainable, grounded, and connected to nature. I feel empowered by this design to live better, not just garden better. Victoria is knowledgeable, collaborative, and understands the brief deeply. Couldn’t recommend more!

DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS REMOTELY?

Yes! We ask that remote clients provide as many clear images of the site as possible and share any site documentation, like contour maps or aerial photos, if available. While we’d love to be there in person, our goal is to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make grounded decisions and move forward with clarity. Remote work allows us to co-create thoughtful, site-responsive designs no matter where you are.

WHAT’S THE INVESTMENT FOR THE PERMACULTURE DESIGN PACKAGE?

The Investment to work with Rainshadow Permaculture can be discussed during your discovery call. Each project is different, and depends on your site size and the level of design and consulting support you need. In our call we’ll discuss where you’re at in your journey, and if you’d be a good fit for the Permaculture Design Package. If so, we’ll discuss the different payment options best suited for you. Payment plans are available.

WHAT IF I’VE ALREADY STARTED BUILDING THINGS ON MY LAND?

That’s totally okay. We’ll work with what you’ve already done and help you integrate future elements in a way that still follows permaculture design. You have the autonomy to choose how “much” permaculture you would like to implement on your site. Feel free to prepare what questions you have about how your existing buildings or elements impact the rest of the design during one of our consultations.

DO YOU OFFER A GUARANTEE?

We offer a “Love it or Leave it” guarantee. If after our first design review you’re not fully satisfied with your investment, we’ll stop all future payments.

WHAT SIZE PROPERTY IS THIS FOR?

We have worked on projects of all sizes - small urban yards to large rural homesteads and farms. The design process is scalable and always tailored to your goals and site conditions.

HOW LONG DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?

Most projects take 4 to 6 weeks to deliver the first design - the Concept Design. If your project is larger or you need extra consulting support, it may take a bit longer. We’ll set realistic timelines together from the start. From the initial sign on to our final consultation, the process is usually about 3 months.

WILL I BE ABLE TO IMPLEMENT THE DESIGN MYSELF?

Yes. Our goal is to empower you with a design that fits your lifestyle, resources, and timeframe. Whether you’re doing it all yourself or working with help, the plan will meet you where you are.

WHAT IF I WANT CONTINUED SUPPORT AFTER THE DESIGN IS COMPLETE?

You can book seasonal coaching or follow-up consulting calls whenever needed. Many clients work with us throughout the first 1-3 years to help with implementation decisions, problem solving, and garden planning.
