3 Steps to Designing Your Land Without Overwhelm
(Even If You’re Starting From Scratch)
Ready to Stop Feeling Overwhelmed by Your Land?
If you’ve recently purchased property or are staring at your yard wondering where to begin, you’re not alone.
There’s endless information online about food forests, swales, zones, guilds, soil health, native plants, regenerative landscaping. It’s inspiring, but also completely overwhelming.
You don’t need more ideas.
You need clarity.
In this free masterclass, I’ll walk you through the exact framework I use with design and installation clients to move from confusion to a grounded, strategic plan.
Imagine standing on your land and knowing:
What to prioritize first
Where gardens should go
How water actually moves
What to build now and what to phase later
This is the training I wish more landowners had before planting their first tree, installing irrigation, or spending thousands on the wrong layout.

Let’s Close the Gap
Right now, your land might feel:
Unclear.
Chaotic.
Full of potential but no direction.
You may have already:
Planted things randomly
Installed raised beds in the wrong place
Ignored water flow
Spent money on plants that struggled
In this masterclass, I’ll show you how to avoid the most common early mistakes and design with intention from the beginning.
You’ll leave with a clear lens for how to observe, design, and make confident decisions about your property.
In This Masterclass, You’ll Discover
The first 3 things to observe on any property before planting or installing anything
How to use zones and sectors in a practical way for real residential properties
Why water comes before gardens and how to start reading it on your site
The difference between random gardening and true permaculture design
How to know whether you need a full design, focused installation, or simple consultation
By the end, you’ll understand what your land actually needs and what your next step should be.
This Masterclass Is For You If:
You just bought land and feel overwhelmed by the possibilities.
You want to grow food but don’t know where to put anything.
You’ve started projects that feel scattered or disconnected.
You want to replace lawn with something productive and ecological.
You’re interested in permaculture but don’t want abstract theory.
You care about soil health, biodiversity, and water stewardship.
You want to avoid costly mistakes and design your property intentionally.
You’re ready to take your land seriously.

This masterclass distills the core framework I use in both full design packages and installation projects so you can begin with clarity instead of confusion.
Whether you ultimately choose to DIY, book a consultation, invest in installation, or pursue a full design, this training will help you make that decision confidently.

Approximately 45–60 minutes.
HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS?
You’ll receive immediate access after registering.
IS THIS CLASS BEGINNER-FRIENDLY?
Yes. No prior knowledge of permaculture is required.
IS THIS THE SAME AS A PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFICATE (PDC)?
No. This is a shorter introductory course designed to help beginners understand the foundations of permaculture and how to start thinking about land, gardens, water, and ecological design. A traditional PDC is a much more in-depth certification program that usually takes 72+ hours to complete.
DO I NEED LAND OR GARDENING EXPERIENCE TO TAKE THIS COURSE?
Not at all. This course is designed for beginners, curious homeowners, and people who feel overwhelmed about where to start. Whether you have a small backyard, a few acres, or are simply exploring permaculture for the first time, this course will help you build a strong foundation.
WHAT WILL I ACTUALLY LEARN IN THIS COURSE?
You’ll learn the foundational principles behind permaculture design, including how to begin observing your land, understanding water flow and microclimates, placing elements intentionally, and thinking in systems rather than isolated parts. The goal is to help you feel more confident and grounded before starting your project.
